Our Pontoon Boat Manufacturing Process
Every Aloha Pontoon begins with a simple philosophy: build the best boat possible, never the cheapest. Since 1960, we’ve proudly manufactured pontoon boats in North Little Rock, Arkansas using proven construction methods, premium materials, and innovative engineering that continue to set Aloha apart. Our goal has never been to simply meet industry standards—we strive to exceed them with every boat that leaves our facility.
Built on More Than Six Decades of Experience
As one of the oldest pontoon boat manufacturers in the United States, Aloha has spent more than 65 years refining the way we build boats. Decades of real-world experience have allowed us to improve our designs, strengthen our construction methods, and continually innovate while remaining focused on quality, durability, and customer satisfaction.
Manufactured to Exceed Industry Standards
Every Aloha Pontoon is engineered with long-term durability in mind. From the framework beneath the deck to the structural components hidden from view, our manufacturing process emphasizes strength, rigidity, and reliability. It’s one of the reasons Aloha earned Pontoon & Deck Boat Magazine’s “Best Built” pontoon boat in the United States and why our boats continue to earn the trust of families, marinas, and dealers across the country.
All-Welded Construction
One of the defining characteristics of an Aloha Pontoon is our all-welded framework. Rather than relying on construction methods used throughout much of the industry, our extruded “M” brackets and deck structure are welded together to create exceptional structural integrity. This design provides a stronger foundation while helping the boat withstand years of use in demanding conditions.
Double TIG Hand-Welded Seams
Every pontoon tube features double TIG hand-welded seams that provide exceptional strength and durability. Combined with reinforced nose cone protection, extruded spray deflectors, and premium aluminum construction, these manufacturing details help create a boat built for long-term reliability on the water.
Heavy-Duty Transom Design
Unlike many pontoon boats, Aloha’s transom is mounted on top of the deck and securely bolted through heavy-duty structural cross members. Combined with our welded framework, this creates a stronger mounting system that better distributes engine loads while enhancing overall structural integrity.
Triple Tunnel Technology
Aloha’s innovative Triple Tunnel Technology was developed to improve both performance and ride quality. In addition to a round aluminum underskin, our Triple Tunnel design incorporates full-length lifting strakes on the center tube and the inside of the outer tubes to reduce spray, increase lift, improve efficiency, and deliver enhanced performance throughout the operating range.
Built for the Toughest Conditions
Few environments are harder on a pontoon boat than a rental fleet. For decades, Aloha has supplied pontoons to marinas and rental operations across the country, where boats experience constant use season after season. Designing boats capable of standing up to those demanding conditions benefits every Aloha owner by delivering exceptional durability, long-term reliability, and lasting value.
Innovation That Leads the Industry
Innovation has been part of the Aloha story since the beginning. We were among the first manufacturers to introduce upper sundeck models and engine-cover sun cushion enclosures—features that eventually became common throughout the pontoon industry. Today, innovations like our exclusive 2-inch round tube railing system and distinctive 3/8-inch acrylic side panels continue that tradition of thoughtful design and premium craftsmanship.
Premium Materials from the Deck Down
Quality starts below the surface. Aloha models are built using premium marine-grade aluminum, reinforced nose cone protection, heavy-duty structural cross members, all-aluminum transoms, stainless steel and aluminum fasteners, and carefully engineered construction techniques designed to maximize strength while resisting corrosion. It’s the attention to these details that separates a premium pontoon from an ordinary one.
We’d Rather Explain the Price Than Apologize for the Quality
That philosophy has guided Aloha Pontoons for generations. Rather than cutting corners to reduce manufacturing costs, we focus on building pontoon boats that deliver lasting value, dependable performance, and years of enjoyable ownership. It’s a commitment that can be seen throughout every model we build.
